I think the world needs to go back in time so that the present will be safe and the future will be extraordinary.

There was a time when Nigeria was not hard and we didn’t had to plus it. When Kerosene was cheap and we didn’t even need gas to do everything. When five Naira hasn’t lost its value.

When the Nigeria Music Industry was filled with talented performers, writers, lyricist, and great musicians, when we were not all going crazy for shaku shaku or legbelegbe, when we were listening to the highest advice from our musicians and falling in love over and over again.

There was a time when our music was influencing the street in a wonderful way. When there were stories and experience behind each songs.

We need our Fela, Tuface not 2baba, J Martins, Mo Hit crew, The original 9ice, Wizkid, Psquare, Timaya, African China, Style Plus, Lagbaja and so on back to continue shaping the minds of our Youths and government in a positive way.

Music have been a great instrument in the transmission of influential information to the world. Words can change anything and as well destroy anyone.

Everything about this country started falling apart when dirty musicians came onto the scene, when money was now the passion rather than the music itself.

Musicians started worshipping money which in turn entered the heads of the youths on the street who rather than finding ways to help improve themselves physically, mentally, and financially are now looking for fast ways to make money.

Musicians were role models to almost every kid on the street and there music was the way of influencing them positively, but now everybody wants to own a Gucci bag, clothes, and shoes like their mentors but nobody wants to work.

They then use the famous word of their mentors to cover their skims “Hustle“.

During those years love was sweet our mothers and fathers were enjoying themselves and toasting was not as hard as this time when without money you cannot get a girl.

That year just use Tuface line for a girl, her head will scatter and she will start to follow you, but now use even Chris Brown lines, my brother the only thing you get is zero love. Our music and fashion trends are killing everything and it has to change.

Government are not scared again because nobody have the mind of Fela or African China to speak for the people on the street.

Some people will be forming the voice of the street but will be using their song to promote the use of illegal drugs while there are other pressing issues in the heart of the people.

Everybody want to be shouting Shukura kilo kosi but not singing about the poverty and insecurity level in the country because they are now the mouthpiece of the Nigerian Government, performing at their wedding parties and other social events.

I’m not saying its bad, your passion must surely pay but do it in the right way.

There is nothing like good music in Nigeria again. At least the last person that tried to pass a message through his song “Cooking pot” later changed back to telling the youths the importance of “Cha Che” and money in “Hallelujah “.

Music can change the world and we have seen it during the time of old, and it can still do now if our musicians can get their act right and we too the consumers can use our intellectual mind to listen to them than our shaku shaku spirit.

Say no to poor music from all those Slimcase, Idowest and their brothers. Think straight, think good music.

NBC still try do your work!!!!
